Enantiornithes was a primitive group of birds, which originated and prospered at Mesozoic.Our project is based on plentiful fossil resources of Jehol Biota in northeastern China, and carries out researches on evolution relation and reason of extinction of enantiornithes. The researches include:1. to establish new genera or to revise and supplement the known species' features basing on describing some important features, for example skeleton, feathers, etc., of enantiornithes in detail. 2. to explore their evolving courses of features from geological and historical view of development, to judge the polarity of character and to establish the system trees. To discuss system evolvement relation of Enantiornithes, which will provide reliable theory reference for the origin and evolution of Enantiornithes. 3. Morphological features is analyzed by using the information from fossil materials to find the inner cause of extinction, meanwhile to find the external cause of extinction by means of discussing ancient ecological environment reflected by different combinations of bird groups, and then to speculate the reason why enantiornithine died out.
反鸟类是鸟类的一个原始类群,生存并繁盛于中生代。本项目立足于我国东北热河生物群丰富的化石资源,开展反鸟类的演化关系及灭绝原因的研究。具体内容包括:.1.在对反鸟的一些重要特征(如骨骼、羽毛等)详细描述的基础上,建立新属种或对已报道的种类进行特征修订及补充。2.从地质历史发展的角度探寻其特征演化历程,判断性状极性,建立系统树,来探讨反鸟系统发育关系,为反鸟的起源和演化提供可靠的理论依据。3.利用化石材料所提供的信息,对外部形态特征进行分析,并"以今论古",分析灭绝的内因,同时综合其它类群所反映的古生态环境,探究反鸟灭绝的外因,进而推测出反鸟的灭绝原因。
反鸟类是鸟类的一个原始类群,生存并繁盛于中生代。本项目立足于我国东北热河生物群丰富的化石资源,开展反鸟类的演化关系及灭绝原因的研究。主要内容包括:.1.在对反鸟的一些重要特征(如骨骼、羽毛等)详细描述的基础上,建立新属种或对已报道的种类进行特征修订及补充。2.对已有多块标本进行研究,建立系统树,报道新属种。3.利用化石材料所提供的信息,对外部形态特征进行分析,并"以今论古",分析灭绝的内因,同时综合其它类群所反映的古生态环境,探究反鸟灭绝的外因,进而推测出反鸟的灭绝原因。现取得初步结果,发表一新属种反鸟类,并且建立了已报道反鸟类的大数据库,分析了反鸟种群内关系及与姊妹群之间的关系;初步探究反鸟类灭绝原因,主要为外因和内因,即火山活动及自身骨骼结构保守两方面。
