Study on CP asymmetry is a hotpot and forefront research both on the experimental and theoretical sides in particle physics. And this is significant for the interpretation of the huge asymmetry between matter and anti-matter in the universe. However, the phenomenon of CP asymmetry is still not fully understood at present. The heavy hadron system is one of a main areas in the study of CP asymmetry. Recently, the experiment finding has shown that the regional direct CP violation distributions in the Dalitz plots are not uniform and large regional CP asymmetries exist in some heavy hadron decays. These observations provide us a new way to study CP asymmetry. In this project, we will carry out a phenomenological study on the regional CP asymmetry in the heavy hadron systems based on the new experiment results. We note that ρ-ω mixing and f0-a0 mixing, which is caused by the strong isospin breaking, could lead to a large regional CP violation. And this is a valuable research topic. We will study affects on the regional CP violation caused by the two mixings in the bottom meson system. The study will also be extended to the charm meson and heavy baryon systems and we will try to predict large regional direct CP violation which could be observed in the future.
CP破缺问题一直是粒子物理实验和理论共同关注的热点和前沿课题,对于解释宇宙间正反物质不对称现象有重要意义,然而人们对CP破缺现象还没有完全理解。重味强子系统是研究CP破缺的主要场所之一。近几年实验在一些重味强子三体及多体衰变道中发现直接CP破缺在相空间中分布不均匀,在局部存在较大的CP破缺(局域CP破缺)。这些发现为CP破缺的寻找和研究提供了新思路。在本项目中,我们将围绕LHCb和BESIII等国内外大型实验组最新的结果,在重味强子三体衰变过程中开展有关局域直接CP破缺的唯象理论研究。我们注意到同位旋破缺引起的ρ-ω混合和f0-a0混合效应在相应的共振态附近会导致大的CP破缺,很具研究价值。我们将在底夸克介子系统研究这两种混合效应对CP破缺的影响,并将研究结果推广至粲夸克介子和重味重子系统,预言一些有较大局域直接CP破缺的衰变道。
对称性是物理规律理论表述形式的支柱。CP破缺作为粒子物理学研究的热点课题,对解释宇宙间正反物质不对称,完善和扩充标准模型、寻找新物理具有重要的意义。近几年LHCb和BESIII等实验研究了大量的重味强子三体及多体衰变过程,在相空间的部分区域发现较大的CP破缺。在本项目中,我们考虑了B介子、D介子和重味重子系统,在末态多体衰变过程中研究CP破缺问题。我们考察了B->f_0(a_0^0)pi->pipipi过程,发现由同位旋破缺导致的f_0(980)-a^0_0(980)混合可以产生较大的CP破缺强相角,会在f_0(980)共振态附近导致较大的CP破缺。我们较为系统地分析了B(s)和D(s)介子半轻多体衰变过程,计算相应的振幅和螺旋度振幅(Helicity Amplitude)。我们还参考最新的实验结果,利用Bethe-Salpeter方程的模型研究了重味强子衰变过程中的奇特态和含多个重夸克的重子的能谱。相应的研究结果以学术论文的形式在Journal of High Energy Physics、Physical Review D、Chinese physics C等物理学主流期刊上发表。本项目的研究显示多体衰变过程中一些共振结构具有较为复杂的末态相互作用,因此有着丰富的物理内容。有关重味强子多体衰变过程中的CP破缺机制研究,为理论和实验发现和研究CP破缺现象提供了新思路,为标准模型的精确检验提供了有益的信息和途径。
