The throwing and formation process of the funnel at the top of parallel cut with empety holes have been nvestigated by use of high-speed photo and model experiments. The quantitative relationships among the funnel depth and the detonation speed of charged explosive, the rock characteristics and the position of charge have been obtained. The mechanism of the parallel cut with empty holes have been researched by use of the experiments with the cement and sand model and X ray high speed photo. The movement condition of rock pieces in cut cavity has been measured. These results provided bases for study on the parallel cut blasting mechanism and blast parameters optimization. These researches developed a new way for instantaneous measurement of blast throwing inside of non-transparency and brittleness medium. The mechanics model about two phrase of flow of throwing rock body in cut cavity has been set up. The physical nature of cut effecting by blast hole depth has been opened out. The fractal theory and calculation method about the fire delay times of the charges in cut blast holes has been put forward. The limited deferent program on explosion dynamic in use of computing blast action of parallel cut has been completed. The blast action process parallel cut with no empty holes has been modeled by use of the program. These are new advance of blast theory study.
