Late Paleozoic, the brachiopods of central Jilin experienced the conversion from ‘warm-water’ to ‘cool-water’ faunas, which caused by tectonopaleogeography and climate change. This subject will research the systematic paleontology of several late Paleozoic brachiopod faunas of central Jilin and their paleobiogeographies, to ascertain the conversion process and time of paleobiogeography, using the character of coral and fusulinid for reference; focus research on the coevolution relationship between brachiopod paleobiogeography and environment (including tectonopaleogeography and global climate), aim to find out the formation mechanism of biogeographic evolution of central Jilin during late Paleozoic, to determine the attribution of late Paleozoic strata of central Jilin. This study is significant in terms of the specific location of Xaron Mulun River-Yanji suture line in central Jilin, and reasonable stratigraphic regionalization of late Paleozoic.
吉中地区晚古生代腕足动物经历了从“暖水”向“凉水”的转换过程,“凉、暖”水动物群的发育及其转换是构造古地理与气候变化双重因素导致的结果。本课题将对研究区晚古生代几个主要腕足动物群进行系统古生物学研究,在此基础上讨论各动物群的古生物地理;同时参考珊瑚、蜓等动物群分析,确认其古生物地理性质的转换过程及时间;重点对腕足动物古生物地理与环境(构造古地理和全球气候)的协同演化关系进行研究,搞清古生物地理演化的形成机制;从而确定吉中地区晚古生代地层的大陆边缘归属。这在确定西拉木伦河-延吉缝合线通过吉中的具体位置、合理地层区划等方面均具有重要意义。
