Finsler几何专题讲习班

Finsler geometry is the research direction which was iniated and encouraged by the late famous mathematician S. S. Chern, which is significant in theory and application. In order to bring prosperity to the research area of Finsler geometry and its application, thus improving and promoting the entire research level of Finsler geometry in China, we plan to organize the second seminar on Finsler geometry for graduates and young researchers at Xiamen university from June 24 to July 13 in 2019. We shall invite three professors to give lectures of 48 hours on three courses related to Finsler Geometry and invite four famous Finsler experts to give lectures.

Finsler几何是著名几何学大师陈省身先生生前大力倡导的研究方向，其研究具有重要的理论意义和应用价值，为推动并繁荣我国对Finsler几何及其应用的研究，提高和促进我国Finsler几何的整体水平，我们计划在2019年6月24日-2019年7月13日在厦门大学为国内研究生和青年学者举办第二期Finsler几何专题讲习班，讲授3门共48学时Finsler几何方面的课程，并邀请4名Finsler几何专家做专题讲座。
