The basic theory of nonlinear functional analysis has been widely used in various branches of mathematics. In particular, the techniques of variational calculus and critical point theory play a crucial role in partial differential equations, differential geometry and other areas. The main purpose of this program is to host "International Conference on Nonlinear Analysis and 19th National Conference on Nonlinear Functional Analysis" at Central China Normal University. This conference is affiliated to the regular series of conferences of National Nonlinear Functional Analysis Committee, China Mathematical Society. The series of conferences have been successfully held for 18 times. The 19th meeting will be held on May 19-23, 2016 at Central China Normal University. Topics include many aspects of nonlinear analysis, espacially the theory of nonlinear functional analysis and its application in the relevant fields. There will be more than 300 participants, including mathematicians and graduate students. The conference tentatively invites 11 plenary talks, 7 out of which are invited abroad. Also, there will be 60-80 sessional speakers. This conference can not only broaden the communication in nonlinear functional analysis and related fields, but also improve the level of national mathematics research. To hold this conference is also significant to training and nutrition the outstanding young scholars.
非线性泛函分析的基本理论已经被广泛地应用于数学的各个分支。特别是基于Sobolev空间的变分技巧和临界点理论已被实践证明在偏微分方程,微分几何等领域中起到了相当重要的作用。本项目的主要目的是在华中师范大学举办“非线性分析国际会议暨第十九届全国非线性泛函分析会议”。这次会议是挂靠在“中国数学会全国非线性泛函分析专业委员会”下的常规性系列会议, 该系列会议目前已成功地举办了18届。第19届会议将于2016年5月19日-23日在华中师范大学举办。会议主题包括非线性分析的诸多方面、特别是非线性泛函分析的理论及其在各相关领域中的应用。届时将有300多位数学工作者和研究生与会。会议初步决定安排11位大会特邀报告,其中7位来自境外。同时,还将安排约60-80名分组报告人。这次会议对促进非线性泛函分析及相关领域的学术交流,提高我国数学研究水平,培养和造就一批优秀的中青年学者都是十分有意义的。
