大别山地区水螨区系及物种多样性研究

The water mites represent the group of very rich species diversity in Acari.They are wild distributed in the world and they also play an important role in freshwater ecosystems. Dabie mountains area is located on the north-south dividing line of China. The the location of Dabie mountain is very unique and the source of life is very rich.Dabie mountains is the key area for biodiversity conservation in China.However, the research about water mites in this area was very limited. In this project, we intend to carry out a systematic research on the fauna and species diversity of water mites in Dabie mountains area: make a thorough investigation of species through morphological taxonomy, expound the fauna characters through faunistic analysis, and reveal the law of diversity through diversity measurements. The research would not only promote the understanding the fauna of water mites in China, but also have great significance for diversity and conservation of Dabie mountains.

水螨是蜱螨亚纲中物种多样性十分丰富的类群，其分布广泛，是淡水生态系统的重要组成部分。 大别山地区为我国地理上的南北分界线，其独特的地理位置孕育着丰富的物种资源，为我国生物多样性保护的重点区域。而其中对于水螨类群的研究却极为有限。 本项目拟对大别山地区的水螨区系和物种多样性开展系统研究，通过形态分类查清水螨物种，通过区系分析阐明该地区水螨区系特征，通过多样性测定揭示其多样性规律。 该研究对完善我国的水螨区系具有促进作用，同时也对大别山地区的生物多样性保护具有重要意义。
