In membrane processes, membrane-substance interactions and changes in structures and properties of membranes and substances arising from the interactions are greatly related to the mechanism of substance transport in membrane and membrane fouling. This project selected three kinds membrane processes, which are facilitated transport membrane processes, charged membrane processes and ordinary membrane processes, and employ several advanced measurement techniques and theoretical methods to study deeply and systematically the interactions and changes. The results show that there are varied physical and chemical interactions between the membranes and the substances, and these interactions affect the structures and properties of the membranes as well as the substances. Through the research of this project, more sufficient knowledge of transport in membrane and membrane fouling is obtained. In addition, on the basis of membrane-substance interactions some principles to design and synthesize functional membrane materials were suggested, and fixed carrier composite membranes for CO2 removal with high permselectivities and anti-fouling charged membranes were developed.
膜过程中膜与物质的动态作用及其引起的膜与物质在结构和性能上的变化与膜内物质传递和膜污染的微观机制密切相关。本项目将采用多种先进的测试技术和相应的理论分析方法,从不同角度和层次上深入而系统地研究上述作用和变化并由此深化对膜内物质传递和膜污染微观机制的认识,为膜材料研制、膜污染防治和膜过程控制等提供科学的理论指导。
