《Mechanics of membrances and vesicles as soft matter》aims at continuing of the theoretical research of ampliphilic membrances of our nation, and struggling for keeping the pioneering level in some respects. After a lengthy analysis, we found that there is a family of shapes involved an analytical solution to the Helfrich theory, previously obtained by Prof. Ou-Yang Zhong-can. Moreover, a new experimentally testable result is yielded. A relation is established between the membrane theory and the classical string theory, and presented all possible cylindrical configurations of classical string with rigidity. In polymers, not only the helical configuration, but also the bistable helices, are ubiquitous. However, no existing theory can give two energy minima, to account for this phenomena. After generalizing the Helfrich theory of elastic filament, we uccessfully explain the co-existance of the bistable helices. Besides, the fund is utilized to support the studies of quantum mechanics. The Fejér average of classical quantity is construced to match the classical limit of the quantum-mechanical ncertaintyrelation.
