以蔷薇科苹果亚科的主要类群,以及在系统演化中有重要关联的若干类群为对象,在世界范围按属、组、系的原则广泛地采集代表种(共约31属117-126种),开展分子系统演化研究:(1)预定采用matK、trnL-trnF及ITS等基因序列,对苹果亚科进行分子系统发育研究,深入探讨各属的划分界限(Generic limits)、亚科内的主要演化支或族、群的划分,以及属下分类系统(尤其着重于Crataegus
