To explore the role of c-met-SF/HGF parthway on metastasis potential of cancer.Biology and molecular methods were used to check SF/HGF and c-met gene express in the hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) cell lines with higher and lower metastasis potential.The results provide that the auto-stimulation of c-met-SF/HGF signal system is one of cancer metastasis characters which is first investigated. The auto-stimulation of signal parthway play the important role in development and metastasis potential of HCC and inhibition and block of c-met signal transduction system may reduce the cancer growth and metastasis.
