The nonlinear electrodynamics, which was proposed in the literature as a very important theoretical model in order to avoid infinite self energy of point particles (typical of Maxwell's electrodynamics), has received considerable attention recently. On the other hand, the black-hole physics, which is an intersectional field of general relativity, string theory, quantum mechanics, condensed matter physics, thermodynamics, statistics and so on, has been a very active subject of research for many years. In this project we are devoted to the investigation of the black-hole physics associated with the nonlinear electrodynamics. By using the analytical and numerical methods, we will examine the influence of the correction to the Maxwell field, Born-Infeld electrodynamics, Power-Maxwell field and logarithmic electrodynamics on the holographic superconductors, phase structure and critical behavior of black hole, quasinormal modes and late-time tail, discuss the possible relation between the phase transitions of holographic superconductors, phase transitions of black hole, quasinormal modes, late-time evolution and the nonlinear electrodynamics, try to obtain the general feature for the effect of the nonlinear electrodynamics on the black-hole physics and find out the physical essences and laws of some fundamental problems in the intersectional field. Meanwhile the results of this research will give the theoretical support to the experimental observation.
非线性电动力学是人们为了解决麦克斯韦理论中点电荷存在无穷大自具能等困难而提出的一种极为重要的理论模型,已经成为近年来物理学中一门非常吸引人的学科。另一方面,作为广义相对论、弦理论、量子力学、凝聚态物理、热力学和统计物理等诸多学科的交叉领域,黑洞物理一直是非常活跃的研究课题。本项目将把非线性电动力学引入到黑洞物理学的研究中,通过采用解析方法和数值计算,探讨非线性电动力学高阶修正参数、Born-Infeld参数、对数参数或指数参数对全息超导、黑洞相结构及临界行为、似正模和晚期拖尾等的影响,试图建立非线性电动力学与全息超导相变、黑洞相变、似正模、晚期拖尾相互之间可能的联系,寻求各种非线性模型产生影响的普适规律并探究其物理根源及意义,弄清楚多学科交叉领域中一些基本问题的物理本质和规律,同时为观测提供理论支持。
