The effects of MIP-2γ on anti-tumor immunity and its related immunological mechanisms were observed. The results showed that intratumoral injection of recombinant MIP-2γ augmented preferable infiltration of CD8+ T cells in local and distant tumor site. Neutrophils infiltration induced by MIP-2γ increased in the tumor site as shown in histological sections. Using the leukemia virus-based retroviral vector pLXSN, we constructed a pL-MIP-2γ-SN vector and used it to transfer MIP-2γ into CT26 cells. The in vitro growth of MIP-2γ-CT26 cells could not be obviously affected, but the migration responses of MIP-2γ-CT26 cells to chemokines increased. mmunization with MIP-2γ-CT26 cellular vaccine was more efficacious than that of the controls.
