This project had fulfilled all the content in the application form of National Nature Science Foundation of China on time. Under the support of the Fund, we designed the protocol system of 'Network-attached Disk Array of duel-channel' and 'Massive storage system', and realized many pivotal technologies such as 'multi-thread schedule inside the disk string', 'adaptive scheduler', 'lower gather/scatter of I/O data', 'adaptation of interface protocols', and 'the operation and management of massive data'. Because of the achievement of our previous research, together with some of this project, we were honored with the National technology Invention Award of the second class in 2001. We had published nearly 50 pieces of paper and one monograph, and those works were of instructive significance to further research of new kinds of network-attached storage system.
本项目研究直接联网的太(Tera Byte)量级海量存储系统组成原理及实现的关键技术。该低尘哂忻钣胧莘至鳌/Q负载与存取模式自动匹配、底层通道多线程和存储容量与数传率同步扩展等特点。研究结构不仅在理论上创新,且对开发新一代网络存储系统有重要意义。
