By use of series of artificial diets with different modified nutritional compositions, the nutritional requirements of sucrose, amino acids, cholesterol and vitamins for Nilaparvata lugens to more-than-one-generation's survival, development and reproduction were determined. It was also found that three host-related populations (TN1 population, Mudgo population, ASD7 population) of N. lugens had significant differentiation in both the amino acid requirements and the physiological adaptation to variation of amino acid composition. Amino acid analysis of rice plant of the three corresponding varieties showed markedly difference in both overall amino acids and most important amino acids. We concluded that composition of important amino acid of rice variety is an important mechanism of rice resistance to N. lugens and causing the virulence shift of the insect. The results have deepened the understanding of the co-evolution of N. lugens and rice, and given clues to promote the sustainable use of rice resistance to N. lugens.
利用率先突破的褐飞虱全纯人工饲料及其继代饲养技术,通过配方组分调整,从昆虫营养生态学、生理学、行为学着手研究褐飞虱对各类营养物质的基本需求,明确致害性不同的种群间营养需求分化的规律及营养适应性差异。结合相应寄主品种营养成分比较,初步阐明水稻抗性胁迫褐飞虱致害特性变异的营养机制,为水稻抗虫育种及其可持续利用提供理论依据。
