At present, spectroscopy and ferrography which are widely used in lubricated oil analysis have great limitation. Spectroscopy can only identify the wear particle element components, ferrography can reveal ferrous particle morphology, but can not recognize material property, especially, nonferrous must be magnetized. In industrial practice, the two methods are often combined to give comprehensive information about wear particles, so it brings expansive cost and complex analysis process. This project presents a new wear particle analysis method that can identify morphology and material property simultaneously, researches and develops an integrated working mechanism of wear particle analysis system and programs software of numerical wear particle graph. This research mainly includes wear particle image acquiring and processing, wear particle feature extracting and classifying, wear particle material property obtaining, wear particle intelligent recognizing, and wear particle information storage and management and so on. In order to overcome wear particle connection and accumulation of substrate which existed in ferrography, the new method of uniformity spreading is put forward. Hereby, the prototype equipment is.manufactured. Some methods that used to identify material components have been.carried out and proven, such as SEM, infrared micro-thermograph and x-ray imaging.A wear particle analysis system based on database technology has been devised,which can display different kinds of wear particle by numerical features visually.Wear particle graph analysis technology is a new method which overcomes the limitation of spectroscopy and ferrography, the success of this research will be an.4innovation of tribology instrument and will produce immense application worthiness and economical profits in fault diagnosis fields of factories and enterprises.

现有故障诊断所用光谱或铁谱技术皆有很大局限。本课题提出的磨谱技术是该领域创新,分制谱、磨粒材质签定、谱像分析三部分。将油液中磨粒分离成谱后,根据不同材质磨粒在辐照场中不同的受激反应,鉴别磨粒材质。并将磨粒图象与材质信息输入计算机。通过软件技术实现丰富的磨粒分析功能。它将引发大量的后继研究,成为世界磨擦学界新的研究领域。
