The structural deformations and major boundary faults of ophiolitic zone records lots of information on primary accretion and weld adjustment of orogenic belt. The Kawabulake ophiolitic zone located in a key link of the Tianshan and Beishan mountains records an important clue to discover the accretion pattern and evolution history of the southern margin of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt. In this project, we plan to do detail geological survey and local large scale mapping, combining structural analysis methods (i.e. foliation, lineation, fold and fault measuring) and advanced SEM and EDS microstructure analysis technology, to study the material constructions, geometries, kinematics and deformation characteristics and styles of the Kawabulake ophiolitic zone in the East Tianshan. Then we plan to date the mica/amphibole of metamorphic rocks and zircon of intrusions hosted in the ophiolitic zone with Ar-Ar thermochronologic and zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb methods respectively, so we can establish the deformation history of the ophiolitic zone.
蛇绿混杂带内部变形-变质岩及其主要边界断裂,记录了造山带初始增生拼贴、构造就位的大量信息。位于塔里木板块东北缘,天山与北山关键衔接部位的东天山卡瓦布拉克蛇绿混杂带,记录了塔里木板块与西伯利亚板块南缘初始增生拼贴的信息,也记录了天山与北山各蛇绿混杂带的对比、衔接的重要信息,是构建中亚造山带南缘增生造山方式及其演化历史的关键之一。本项目拟通过详细野外地质调查和局部大比例尺填图,借助传统构造地质解析方法(如线理、面理、褶皱、断层等宏观构造的测量),结合SEM、EDS等显微组构学分析技术,查明东天山卡瓦布拉克蛇绿混杂带的构造-组构特征、几何学和运动学、不同构造层次的构造变形特征和样式。通过构造变形-变质岩中云母/角闪石Ar-Ar年代学和侵入岩中锆石U-Pb年代学分析,建立蛇绿混杂带的变形时代格架。通过本项目的研究,揭示天山与北山各蛇绿混杂带的衔接方式,并为中亚造山带南缘的增生造山方式提供制约。
