The theory and application oil resource migration-accumulation have made remarkable progress. In applied domain, the software system of numerical simulation of migration-accumulation has been designed. For the actual situation of Dongying hollow (four-layer), Tanhai region (three-layer) and Humin hollow of Shengli Petroleum Field, our numerical simulation test results and actual conditions are coincident. The results have been appraised to have come up to advanced world standards in theory and techniques, and have been applied to oil-gas resources estimation in Shengli Petroleum Field and other oilfields in China. In theoretical domain, we put forward a series of new numerical schemes (multilayer coupling upwind fractional steps finite difference method and characteristic alternating- direction finite element method), and have obtained the results of convergence, stability and error estimation. Breakthroughs have been made in fluid dynamics in porous media, numerical mathematics and computational petroleum geology. It can be justified that our work has reached world leading standards. Our research group has published seventy papers in "Science in China", "Appl. Math. & Mech." And other famous journals, and won the First Prize of Natural Science Awarded by The Ministry of Education, the First Prize in Science and Technology Awarded by Shengli Petroleum Administration.
