中国运筹学会2016年学术交流大会

2016 Biennial Conference of Operations Research Society of China (ORSC2016) will be held at Yunnan University in Kunming from October 14-16, 2016, it will have about 550 participants. The conference is organized by the Operations Research Society of China in every two years, the main aim of the conference is to encourage the scientific discussions and award the ORSC scientific and technology prize. ORSC will invite some well-known scholars and experts, including the president of International Federation of Operations Research Societies (IFORS) to give 6 plenary and 50 topic talks reporting the most recent achievements and future trend in the area of operations research. As the most important academic activity in the operations research community of China, the annual conference of ORSC will play a crucial role in pushing forward the theoretical research, application practice and personnel training in the area of operations research. During the conference, new council of ORSC will be elected, so ORSC2016 has special significance for the development of operations research in the coming years.

中国运筹学会2016年学术交流大会将于10月14-16日在昆明召开，由云南大学承办，预计参会代表大约五百五十人。中国运筹学会每二年召开一次全国学术交流大会，会议的主要内容是开展广泛深入的学术交流和研讨，评选和颁发中国运筹学会科学技术奖的四个奖项：终身成就奖、运筹研究奖、运筹应用奖、青年科技奖。会议邀请了包括国际运筹学会联合会主席Nelson Maculan院士在内的国内外知名学者和专家做六个大会报告和五十个专题报告，介绍国内外运筹学相关领域的最新成果和发展趋势。本次会议作为我国运筹学领域的最重要的一项学术交流活动，对于促进中国运筹学及相关领域的理论研究、应用实践和人才培养有积极的推动作用。在本次会议期间，还将选出中国运筹学会的新一届理事会和领导，因而它对我国运筹学今后几年的发展也有重要意义。
