The present status and development trend of the photocatalytic oxidation technique in the world have been fully analyzed. On this basis, TiO2 film is successfully prepared on the silica optical fiber by sol-gel process. The prepared TiO2 film is anatase form and mechanically very stable. The factor which may affect the film preparation are studied. The two new-style photocatalytic oxidation reactor using TiO2-coated optical fibers with focusing and non-focusing ultraviolet rayrespectively were designed. Low pressure mercury lamp (e.g. germicidal lamp with radiation centred at 253.7nm or 365nm) and high pressure mercury lamp have been used as light source respectively..The destruction effects of trace impurities in water by photocatalytic oxidation with the two new-style reactor have been investigated. The investigation is mounted into Phenol (Ph),DBS and 4-CP aqueous solutions、the comprehensive index removal of varied trace organic pollutants(TOC、UV-scan、COD 、A254)and nitrite concentration (NO2-)in main water, etc..The ways by which to enhance the photocatalytic oxidation reaction efficiency and the kinetic law of the reaction have been studied. The new advanced treatment process of main water have also been studied, which makes up of manganese sand filter, active carbon filter, cartridge filter and the ultimate treatment of photocatilytic oxidation associate with photochemical oxidation..The research results show that: TiO2 film coated on optical fibers has better photocatalytic activities toward the destruction of varied organic impurities in water.. The two new-style photocatalytic oxidation reactor can both increase the penetration depth of UV light. The addition of oxidants such as H2O2, O3, O2 in the photocatalytic oxidation process, namely photocatilytic oxidation associate with photochemical oxidation, can enhance the efficiency of photocatilytic reaction. The effect of O3 addition is better than H2O2 addition. The impurities in main water, e. g. TOC、CODMn、A254, and nitrite can be availably reduced by the new photocatalytic oxidation process. The kinetic law of photocatalytic oxidation of organic pollutants in water over TiO2 film could be discribed by the Langmuir-Hinshelwood (L-H) kinetic model.
在光学纤维上制备二氧化钛膜,研究提高二氧化钛膜光催化活性和反应效率的方法,研制光学纤维载二氧化钛膜光催化氧化反应器及配套技术,阐明光催化氧化水中有机污染物的机理,提出光催化氧化水处理新工艺。本研究不仅将从理论上完善和发展光催化氧化水中有机污染物机理,而且对开发高效实用的饮用水深度处理技术具有一定意义和实用价值。
