High voltage SF6 auto-expansion circuit breaker, compared with puffer circuit breaker, is a new generation of circuit breaker which is getting to be used more and more widely in electrical power system. The project focuses on the breaking process of SF6 auto-expansion circuit breaker based on construction of arc mathematical model. The research work includes: (1)Magnetohydrodanamic mathematical model of arc in high voltage SF6 auto-expansion circuit breaker is established based on the control equations of eletric arc. (2)The breaking processes for different faults are simulated . (3)The dielectric recovery strength is analyzed according to the streamer theory.(4)The interruptions of electrical arc are numerically analyzed by combined calculations of mechanical characteristics and interrupter characteristics, thus interrupt abilities of the breaker can be predicted. Compared with world-wide relative work, the mathematical model constructed in this project features in consideration of heat conduction besides radiation; research results have significant meanings to the development of SF6 auto-expansion circuit breaker in our country.
SF6自能膨胀式断路器电弧动态特性和灭弧机理的研究是目前电器学科的前沿课题。利用电弧自身能量增加气流吹弧压力使电弧熄灭,在灭弧理论上是重大进展。本项目研究弧柱和热边界区的阻塞效应对灭弧特性能的影响,建立并完善电弧数学模型,对电磁场和气流场以及开断过程进行综合数值分析,为自能膨胀式断路器的发展提供理论依据。
