Based on the mechanism experimental study in laboratory and the numerical.modeling, the effects of wave–current on pollutant diffusion and transport in the near-shore area has been investigated. The technique to make the wave breaking at fix point and PIV, LIF for measurement the velocity field and pollutant concentration field at same time have been developed in wave flume. The vertical structure of wave and current interaction and the change of the field of pollutant diffusion coefficient in time and space domain have been studied. The longshore current experimental model has been set up in wave basin. The near shore current and the low frequency wave.have been measured and the pollutant transport acted on longshore current was observed in the wave basin. A set of numerical models for the shallow water waves have been developed and improved. The vertical structure model of wave-current interaction and the multiple parameters water quality model for combine the wave and current have been curried out. The numerical models have been used to simulated the aquatic environmental problem in Hakata Bay in Japan and Bohai Bay in china.successfully. The study of the pollutant transport acted by water waves for the near shore area of Bohai Bay will give valuable results for the improvement and restoration of the eco-environment of Bohai Sea.

研究近岸海域的浅水波、波流相互作用及波浪破碎区的水流结构、水动力学特性和物质交换规律;研究波浪参数对污染物输移转化规律的影响。建立包含多个水质参数、考虑波、波浪相互作用的水质模型和图形显示系统。用以模拟缓坡海岸污水排放的近岸水质;指导环境评价、海洋功能规划和海洋污水处置等控制、治理近岸污染的工程和非工程措施。
