Digital watermarking, the art of imperceptibly hiding information into multimedia data, has gained great interest over the past few years. It represents a solution to the ever-increasing need for digital multimedia authentication and IPR (Intellectual Property Right) protection. In this project, digital watermarking of image and video has been widely researched, various techniques, with our own IPR, have been proposed, such as robust watermarks in the spatial and transform domain for image copyright protection, semi-fragile watermarks for JPEG and JPEG2000 image authentication, double watermarking for DVD copy control, watermarking and data hiding in MPEG compressed video data stream, etc. Those schemes, with their own novelties and characteristics, are compatible with international image/video compression standards, and possess high commercial potential for applications such as multimedia authentication, IPR protection and secret data transmission.
研究数字视频和静止图象的内嵌数字水印技术。通过系统优化,适应有损压缩的使用环境,在水印不被察觉的前提下,研制出高效、安全、适用性强的数字水印系统。本课题是跨信息隐藏、图象处理等多学科领域的前沿课题,所获得的成果具有自主知识产权,有重要科学意义并在数字多媒体产品版权保护、数字信息安全管理、电子商务等领域具有广阔应用前景。
