The continent is widespread and inhomogeneous tectonic movement as unequilibrated gravities, earthquake activities, crustal deformations, active faults and so on. Are there any active tectonics existed in the continent as them found in the subduction zones of the oceanic plate? Are there any similarities or differences? For the key problems of continental dynamics, this project tries to build up the new ideals of active tectonics in the continent based on comprehensive geophysical studies with the new archived multi-discipline observation data. We found that the active tectonic zones in the mainland of China are distributed with different widths from the data of seismicity and deformation. The depths of continental earthquakes in China depend on the tectonic zonings. The hierarchy of crustal geological structure may be the reason for the hierarchy of the earthquake spatial distribution. With the coherence analysis of the high-resolution gravity and topography data in the Erdos and its adjacent region, our analysis shows the feasibility of gravity data for the active tectonics research.
重力偏离均衡、地壳产生变形、地震频繁发生和断层最新活动等都是由构造运动造成的,它们在大陆地区呈不均匀分布。本申请基于近年来各种最新观测资料,探索大陆活动构造带的新概念,对其地球物理场特征进行跨学科的综合研究。大陆活动构造带与海洋俯冲带的对比研究,有助于深化大陆动力学认识,而且,所得结果将为环境与灾害研究提供科学基础。.
