组团参加国际光学联合会大会

The Chinese Optical Society (COS) has been one important member of The International Commission for Optics, ICO since 1987. The international commision for optics congress of ICO is held every 3 years to promote the academic communication and collaboration, also to elect council. Every year, a delegation from COS attends this congress to participate the vice president of ICO election campaign. The famous scholars, such as Mr. Daheng Wang, Guoguang Mu and Guopan Jin had been elected the vice president of ICO, and the present one is Mr. Binkun Zhou..The 22nd international commission for optics congress will be held in Mexico in August, 2011, in which the COS has 4 votes. The COS will appoint a delegation of 4 members to attend this congress to participate the vice president election campaign. This application for NSFC is to get the financial support to complete this commission.

从1987年起,中国光学学会成为国际光学联合会（The International Commission for Optics，ICO）的重要成员. 该会每三年举行一次大会进行学术交流并选举理事会.我国每次都组团参加大会并参选该会的副主席.我国王大珩,母国光,金国藩先后担任过该会的副主席.周炳琨现任该会的副主席..2011年八月, 国际光学联合会第22次大会将在墨西哥举行. 由于我国在该会有四票投票权,中国光学学会需要组团(4人)参加学术交流和参选副主席.特此申请信息学部主任基金资助.

2011年8月在中国光学学会理事长周炳琨教授带领下，我国光学学会成员金国藩教授、骆清铭教授、龚旗煌教授组团参加在墨西哥培尔不拉召开的第22届国际光学联合会（ICO）全体会员大会。两名中国学者在会上做了学术报告，在全体会员大会上，周炳琨教授再次当选ICO副主席。会议期间，中国光学学会代表团还与国际光学工程学会首席执行官Eugene G. Arthurs，新当选ICO主席、美国前国家总统科学顾问Duncan教授等进行了会谈交流，表示愿意进一步合作交流。
