This project focuses on two key scientific issues, including the dynamic mechanism of the Neogene-Quaternary postrift tectonic reactivation and the effects of the reactivation on petroleum accumulation in the Bohai Bay area. The study will be carried out by a combination of multi-level analysis and comparison, based on a crossing of structural geology and petroleum geology. The most notable manifestations of the postrift tectonic reactivation in the Bohai Bay area are (1) the late-stage faulting activity, and (2) accelerated tectonic subsidence. The relationship between the manifestations and the late-stage strike-slip tectonism of the regional major faults as well as that between the manifestations and the deep geological processes will be studied to reveal the dynamic mechanism of the postrift tectonic reactivation. Both the control of accelerated tectonic subsidence on maturation of source rocks and the influence of reactivation-controlled pore pressure/stress coupling on petroleum migration will also be investigated to reveal the effects of the reactivation on petroleum accumulation.

本项目围绕渤海海域新近纪―第四纪拗陷期构造活化的动力学机制及油气成藏效应两个核心科学问题,基于构造地质学―石油地质学交叉、多层次精细解析和对比研究,通过探讨研究区拗陷期构造活化的两个主要表现形式(晚期的断裂活动和加速的构造沉降)与区域大断裂晚期走滑运动和深部地质过程关系揭示渤海海域拗陷期构造活化的动力学机制;从加速构造沉降控制烃源岩成熟演化和构造活化控制下应力和压力耦合作用对油气运移的影响两个层面揭示渤海海域拗陷期构造活化的油气成藏效应。研究表明:渤海海域新近纪―第四纪拗陷期构造活化是区域大断裂晚期走滑运动和深部地质过程共同作用的结果;晚期的构造活化可以促进烃源岩的快速成熟、超压的发育和断裂的强烈活动,从而使得油气大量生成并发生垂向运移,并造成现今渤中坳陷油气主要分布在新近系,而辽东湾坳陷油气主要分布在古近系,理论分析与勘探实践相吻合。
