白虫小茧峰是有重要利用价值的昆虫天敌资源,在防治紫胶白虫上已收到良好效果.离体培养这种茧蜂(包括培养基,产卵利它素及离体培养技术)的研究,是昆虫天敌繁育新途径的创新性探索,可以更充分、更有效地开发利用这种天敌资源.具有重要学术意义和应用前景.
