The subfamily Plusiinae belong to Noctuidae, Lepidoptera. Most species are important pests of agriculture and forest production, with their larvae damaging the quality and yield of crop. Plusiinae is composed of more than 400 species around the world, with about 100 known species in China. Some genera and species are difficult to identify clearly just from external features. Therefore, accurate identification and delineation are quite important. The project intends to fully investigate the Chinese species of Plusiinae, record new taxa, revise synonymy; using molecular technology and morphological characters to elucidate their phylogenetic relationships, revise and improve the classification system. The results provide basic knowledge for the prevention and control of pests, laying the foundation for Plusiinae of Fauna Sinica.
金翅夜蛾亚科Plusiinae隶属于鳞翅目Lepidoptera夜蛾科Noctuidae,多数种类为农林重要害虫,其幼虫危害严重影响作物品质和产量。全世界已知400多种,中国已知近100种。该类群个别属、种在外形特征上区分很不明显,给物种鉴定带来许多困难。因此,金翅夜蛾昆虫的准确鉴定和各阶元的划分,是该亚科研究中的关键问题。本项目拟对中国金翅夜蛾昆虫进行全面调查,记录新单元,订正异名;运用分子生物学技术,结合形态学特征,研究其系统发育关系,修订和完善分类体系。其结果为农林害虫防控提供基础资料,为中国动物志金翅夜蛾亚科的编写奠定基础。
金翅夜蛾亚科Plusiinae隶属鳞翅目Lepidoptera,夜蛾科Noctuidae,是农林业重要害虫。全世界已知约400种,我国近100种。本项目对中国金翅夜蛾亚科昆虫进行研究,根据形态学特征共整理记述了金翅夜蛾82种,隶属于3个族,28个属,给出了82张成虫原色图片,为农林业园艺园林昆虫的鉴定提供最直观的参考资料。根据分子数据,集合形态特征,建议以Plusia属为模式属,建立一个新族;Extremoplusia,Anadevidia属归入金翅夜蛾族。本文研究共发现1新种:龙苍沟银钩夜蛾Panchrysia longcanggouensis Hu, Huang & Wang, 2017;2个中国新记录种:黄异纹夜蛾Euchalcia herrichi (Staudinger, 1861)和库异纹夜蛾Euchalcia cuprescens Dufay, 1965。通过文献资料的查阅、观察标本,核实同物异名Cerviplusia wukongensis Chou & Lu, 1974为Antoculeora ornatissima (Walker, 1858)等11个。
