基于空间计量模型的模型选择研究

Various spatial econometric models have been widely employed in empirical studies. In practice, when facing other available candidate spatial weights matrices, the spatial analysis generally cannot justify the use of those concerning the final results. As a result, spatial econometric modelling is usually criticized for the arbitrary choice of spatial weights matrices. In the literature, there have been some methods that can be used to make a selection from the candidate spatial weights matrices. Nevertheless, the number of the related papers is very limited. This project will study model selection of spatial econometric models and aim to provide new methods that can address the issue above. There will be three focuses: model selection based on specification tests, model selection based on information criteria and model selection based on nonnested tests. The new methods will be important complements to the literature. Since they can be employed to guide the spatial econometric modelling, it can be expected that they will be applicable to a wide range of empirical studies.

空间计量模型已被广泛应用于各种实证研究，但是，由于当前的空间计量分析常常会面对多个备选空间加权矩阵，却又无法说明最终使用的空间加权矩阵的合理性，导致基于各种空间计量模型的研究结果的可信度常受到质疑。目前，尽管已有文献开始注意到了这一问题并提出了一些可用于选择空间加权矩阵的方法，但是，文献数量还相当有限。鉴于此研究现状，本项目将从新的视角研究空间计量模型的模型选择问题，旨在提出能用于选择空间加权矩阵的新方法。具体而言，本项目考虑从三个方向进行理论创新：基于设定检验进行模型选择，基于信息准则的模型选择，基于非嵌套检验进行模型选择。由于本项目的研究成果能直接为当前的空间计量分析提供建模指导，其不但有重要的理论价值，还有重要的应用价值。

空间计量模型已被广泛应用于各种实证研究，但是，由于当前的空间计量分析常常会面对多个备选空间加权矩阵，却又无法说明最终使用的空间加权矩阵的合理性，导致基于各种空间.计量模型的研究结果的可信度常受到质疑。目前，尽管已有文献开始注意到了这一问题并提出了一些可用于选择空间加权矩阵的方法，但是，文献数量还相当有限。鉴于此研究现状，本项从高维检验的视角对空间计量模型的模型选择问题进行研究。模型误差在截面上相互独立是大部分空间计量模型的重要的假设，空间加权矩阵选取不当将会导致这一假设不成立，因此，可以通过检验模型误差是否是截面无关的或独立的来间接推断空间加权矩阵的选取是否合理。.基于近些年发展的高维统计检验理论，本项目主要进行了三项研究：一、大维度异质线性面板数据的误差截面相关性检验问题；二、对重尾数据稳健的高维协方差矩阵检验问题；三、基于Pearson相关系数的一类高维独立性检验问题。三项研究提出了若干个经模拟研究验证表现良好的新检验方法。初步的模拟研究显示，这些新检验方法可以应用到大维度空间计量面板数据模型的模型选择上。
