Previously studies have shown that air pollution reduce solar radiation, but its health effects are rarely assessed. This study will use a high UV sensitivity dual-channel fiber optic spectrometer to monitor the horizontal and vertical directions of solar ultraviolet radiation at five pollution regions of different latitudes, different atmospheric pollution levels and types,which are at Sanya, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing and Shenyang. Pro-vitamin D synthesis effective spectral irradiance will be calculated to clarify the effect of air pollution to solar ultraviolet radiation and its characteristic spectral wavelengths, to explore the differences of Pro-vitamin D synthesis effective spectral irradiance between the vertical (which more representative of individual surface UV exposure) and conventional horizontal plane. Combined with the existing environmental solar radiation monitoring network and real-time monitoring air pollution data, the temporal and spatial distribution of Pro-vitamin D synthesis effective spectral irradiance on vertical and horizontal plane under the background of air pollution and geographic informatic TUPU would be established. According to the dose determined by TUPU data and the vitamin D level data of population in 150 cities/counties and villages monitored by China National Nutrition and Health Status Monitoring project, the dose-response relationship between UV exposure and vitamin D levels could be established, and then the reduce of Pro-vitamin D synthesis effective spectral irradiance caused by air pollution as while as its health effects on the population will be assessed. This study will provide scientific evidence for the comprehensive assessment of the health effects of air pollution.
研究表明,空气污染对太阳辐射具有削减作用,但其健康影响却鲜有评估。本研究将采用高紫外灵敏度双通道光纤光谱仪在不同纬度、不同大气污染程度和污染类型的三亚、广州、上海、北京和沈阳五地区进行水平和垂直方向日光紫外辐射的监测,计算促维生素D合成有效光谱强度,阐明空气污染对有效日光紫外辐射及其特征光谱波长的影响,阐明垂直面(更有代表性的个体体表暴露特征)与常规水平面促维生素D合成有效光谱的差异;结合现有的环境日光辐射监测网络和大气污染实时发布系统数据,建立空气污染背景下垂直与水平面促维生素D合成有效日光紫外辐射的时空分布规律和区域信息图谱;根据图谱剂量及中国居民营养与健康状况监测的150个市、县、村人群维生素D水平数据,建立紫外线暴露与人群维生素D水平的量效反应关系,评估空气污染所致促VitD合成有效UVR降低对人群维生素D健康状态的影响,为完善空气污染健康影响的全面评估提供科学依据。
严重的空气污染,不仅对公众呼吸系统、心脑血管系统造成了直接危害,更是通过削减太阳辐射从宏观上改变了人类光和热的唯一自然来源,造成了难以估量的巨大间接损失,日光紫外线就是其中影响最强的波谱部分。研究表明,空气污染对日光紫外辐射具有削减作用,但其健康影响却鲜有评估。本研究对不同云量、大气污染程度下水平和垂直方向的日光紫外辐射进行了监测,并通过加权计算获得促维生素D合成生物有效紫外辐射,阐明了空气污染特别是PM0.1-2.5数量浓度对环境促维生素D合成生物有效日光紫外辐射的削减作用达到5%~45%,垂直面与常规水平面促维生素D合成生物有效日光紫外辐射的暴露比率为0.22~1.14,并分析了其它环境和个体因素,如云量、朝向、防护措施等对个体日光紫外暴露的影响;依据现有的环境日光辐射监测网络,建立了我国分辨率为1°×1°经纬度的年均紫外线分布规律和区域信息图谱,定量得到了中国居民营养与健康状况监测的150个市、县、村级环境紫外辐射水平;项目还进行了实地的人群健康检查,通过88人的固定群组研究,详细收集了个体膳食信息、户外活动情况,监测了个体紫外线和颗粒物污染暴露水平,检测了个体VD水平及其健康状况(心、肺功能,肝、肾代谢指标、免疫功能等),从而建立了紫外线暴露与人群维生素D水平的量效反应关系,阐明了个体维生素D水平降低与空气污染所导致的个体健康状态变化存在交互作用,为完善空气污染健康影响的全面评估提供了科学依据。通过执行本项目,在国际核心期刊发表SCI论文17篇,中文论文1篇;新招收培养3名硕士研究生继续进行本项目相关研究。
