The physi-chemical characteristics of landfill soil, gases and leachate were studied in several landfill sites of Guangdong Province and Hong Kong. The results showed that the factors affecting the nature vegetation on landfill site were mainly landfill gases (CH4 and CO2 etc) and landfill leachate which contained high concentrations of organic pollutants such as COD、BOD and NH4+-N ect. Vegetation restoration experiments were conducted by selecting several tolerant plant species. Community ecology of algae in leachate had been investigated. The eco-toxicology of landfill leachate was evaluated by the tests of algal growth, and the possibility of using algae and constructed wetland to purify leachate was also studied. The diversity and structure of archaeal community in the leachate of a full-scale recirculating landfill were examined by direct 16S rRNA gene sequence retrieval, that was the first time to study this problem in the world. The results provided usefull theories and conductions on the ecological recovery of landfill.
垃圾堆填区的生态环境质量监测及其对自然植被的影响;垃圾堆填区生物气与渗滤液的基本理化特性以及耐性植物种类的选育;不同植物种类与群落配置组合的植被重建试验;渗滤液中藻类的种群生态学与分子生物学研究;利用藻类的生长试验建立垃圾堆填区渗滤液生态毒理学评估模式。通过研究提出符合中国国情的垃圾堆填区植被重建的标准步骤与实施规范。
