Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass (YSCWM), as a significant feature in Yellow Sea, has provided a suitable habitat for cold-water species in Yellow Sea. Pacific cod (Gadus macrocephalus) is a large-scale demersal species, and it is also a typical species for YSCWM. Despite the general decline of offshore fishery resources, the stock of Pacific cod in Yellow Sea showed a recovery trend in recent years. Among them, the young-of-year Pacific cod is both influenced by YSCWM and the key stage to the resource recruitment. This project is based on the young-of-year Pacific cod sampling from the fishery resources surveys surrounding Shandong Province. Otolith daily increment and microchemistry measurement for young-of-year cods is used to determine the growth and migration pattern, combined with measured and simulated oceanography data reflecting the seasonal variation of YSCWM. From detailed hydrological structure and process such as “double cold core” structure and thermocline, we carry out comprehensive research on the influence of seasonal variation process of YSCWM on young period of Pacific cod life history, especially on the growth, migration and significant life history event. We also explore the biological meaning of characteristics and interfacial process of YSCWM. Then with the supplement data and samples in 2018 and 2019, we plan to compare the difference of the influence pattern of YSCWM on young-of-year Pacific cod in these years, to provide scientific basis for further research on the mechanism of fluctuation mechanism and continuous utilization of Pacific cod resources.
黄海冷水团作为黄海夏季重要海洋结构,为冷水性鱼种提供了适宜的栖息地。太平洋鳕是大型底层冷水性鱼类,及黄海冷水团的代表鱼种。在我国近海渔业资源整体衰退的大背景下,近年来太平洋鳕资源却呈现恢复趋势。其当年生幼鱼既受到黄海冷水团消长过程的直接影响,同时又是太平洋鳕资源补充的重要阶段。因此本项目在2016-2017年山东近海调查所得太平洋鳕幼鱼样品生物学特征的分析基础上,基于耳石日轮与微化学分析,结合反映黄海冷水团季节性变化的海洋学实测和模拟数据,从“双核结构”、温跃层等具体水团结构及过程出发,综合探讨黄海冷水团生消过程对太平洋鳕当年生幼鱼的影响,尤其是对生长、迁移和重要生活史事件的控制,探究黄海冷水团主要特征结构及界面过程的生态学意义,并结合2018、2019年补充样品和数据,对比黄海冷水团年际变化对太平洋鳕当年生幼鱼的作用差异,为未来进一步研究黄海太平洋鳕资源变动机制和可持续利用提供科学依据。
