In total,415 isolates of Phytophthora infestans were collected from potato from 9 provinces (city) in China. Mating type and fungicide resistance of these isolates were determined, and mtDNA hyplotype and RAPD analysis of genomic DNA of representative isolates were also investigated. Results showed that genetic diversity is very rich in the population of P. infestans in China, and isolates from different places have different origins. This suggested that late blight fungus may be introduced into China from different sources at different times. Results also showed that fungicides may play an important role in affecting the biological characteristics of the late blight fungus.
马铃薯晚疫病是马铃薯生产上的重要病害.病菌的变异与A2交配型的出现是晚疫病近年在世界各地再次流行的主要原因.本研究将通过对我国马铃薯产区晚疫病菌交配型的测定与菌株工因组DNA的RAPD分析,阐明A2交配型分布的情况,菌系间亲缘关系,A2产生的原因,为提示该菌的演化及所致病害的防治提供理论基础.
