Molecular Plant

Molecular Plant (MP) was founded in 2008, published on behalf of CSPB and IPPE, SIBS, CAS. MP is supervised by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The journal features a very strong international editorial board and is set to become a top-tier journal in the field, using rigorous review to limit the journal to papers that provide novel insights of high impact. 79 board members from 13 countries are active at the frontier of plant scientific research. To track hot topics in the area and attract more readers, every issue published in the beginning two years has a specific topic. MP has been attracting a large volume of submissions from more than 45 countries and regions. Bench>Press manuscript processing system is used to track the whole review processes of manuscripts. Over 410 published articles since 2008 have been fully indexed by SCI-E, Medline and other databases. To date, total citations of MP articles has exceeded 3,200 times. The 2010 impact factor (IF) of MP is 4.296. The 2011 IF predicted would be over 5.4, ranking Top 5% among the 190 journals in plant science category. Indeed MP has achieved a great success in a short time and become a highly-respected journal in plant science community. We believe that, with the support from National Science Foundation of China, MP will do even better and become one of the leading international plant science journals. We will try our best to establish a wonderful platform for domestic and foreign academic exchanges.

<Molecular Plant>是2008年创刊的全英文学术期刊，刊物由中科院上海生科院植生所和中国植生学会主办，中国科学院主管。本刊打破传统，实现跨越式发展。编委国际化，国际编委占79位编委的70%；热点国际化，设立专辑追踪国际研究热点，刊登最新成果；来稿国际化，来稿国家地区多达45个；信息系统国际化，投审稿全程在线操作。我刊08年来发表的410多篇文章已被SCI-E，MEDLINE等知名数据库全部收录，在WOS中总被引频次超过3200次，本刊2010 JCR影响因子为4.296，2011 JCR影响因子根据WOS系统中被引情况测算在5.4以上，连续两年位居国际植物科学领域期刊影响因子的前8%（共190种期刊）。从而一跃成为植物科学领域国际主流刊物。如今本刊发展势头很好，希望得到国家自然基金委的支持，使本刊早日成为国际植物科学领先期刊，建立国内外交流的良好平台，促进我国科技事业发展。

Molecular Plant（中文名：分子植物）创刊于2008年，是由中国植物生理与植物分子生物学学会和中国科学院上海生科院植物生理生态研究所共同主办、中国科学院上海生命科学信息中心生命科学期刊社承办的一本全英文、国际化期刊。经过几年的发展，本刊已培育了稳定的读者群和作者群。我刊的来稿量从2012年的460余篇，增加到2014年的约700篇，来稿国家和地区达到43个，其中国外稿件占65.77%。我刊的编委也从2012年的71名增加到了2014年的106名，每年参与审稿的专家也从2012年的474人，增加到2014年的约750人。本刊编辑部现有5名专职编辑，均为植物科学研究背景，均具有博士或硕士学位，在从事编辑工作前，均有从事植物科学研究的经历，对学科前沿具有良好的把握能力。2012年本刊已全职引进美国Purdue大学博士后崔晓峰博士担任本刊专职副主编，此外，还聘请美国旧金山州立大学的Zack He教授担任执行主编。2014年新引进两名博士后李炜、伍亮担任全职编辑，他们都具有美国博士后经历。据美国科学信息研究所（ISI）2011年发布的2010年度《期刊引证报告》（JCR），本刊首个正式影响因子（IF）为4.296，位居国际植物科学领域研究类期刊第10名，进入本领域SCI期刊前8%；2014年发布的2013年度JCR，本刊IF达到6.605，并连续四年排名亚洲第一。据《中国科协科技期刊发展报告》（2012，第73页），Molecular Plant是3个SCI影响因子进入Q1类的中国科协期刊之一。这些数据表明本刊已跻身国际植物科学领域顶尖期刊之列，迅速成为展示我国植物科学研究优秀成果、引领国际植物科学发展的重要交流平台。
