Being an integrated ideographic system that is user-centric and has the natural communication and representation mode that are closest to human beings, Virtual Geographic Environment (VGE) should have strong combination with human cognitive models. However, nowadays the construction of VGE fails to fully reflect the cognitive characteristics of human beings, and needs to be further improved in terms of user needs and real-time generation. Through introducing relative theories and methods of Cognitive Linguistics, this proposal takes the construction of cognitive semantics model of VGE as a goal, and focuses on some key calculating technologies of this model. Research contents include the construction of cognitive semantics model of VGE, a kind of geographic semantic network model as well as its inference calculation based on Prototype Theory, and semantic-driven dynamic construction mechanism of VGE and its cognitive experiments. Through the implementation of this study, on the one hand, the relationship between VGE and cognitive model of human beings can be established, and a solid semantic basis for further understanding of human-computer interaction can be provided, which can also help provide a kind of beneficial attempt for the convergence between the geographic information technology and the research of spatial cognition. And on the other hand, through the exploration of the dynamic construction mechanism of VGE driven by semantic computation and reasoning, the technical level of automation and intelligent construction of VGE can be enhanced.
作为一种以用户为中心、最接近人类自然交流方式与表达形式的综合表意系统,虚拟地理环境与人的认知模型紧密耦合。但目前虚拟地理环境的构建未能充分体现认知特性,在依据用户需求和实时生成方面有待进一步提高。本项目引入认知语言学相关理论与方法,以虚拟地理环境的认知语义模型构建为目标,并重点探索这一模型的计算技术问题。研究内容包括虚拟地理环境认知语义模型构建,基于原型范畴理论的地理语义网络模型及其推理计算,以及语义驱动的虚拟地理环境动态构建机制和认知实验验证。通过本研究的实施,一方面可建立起虚拟地理环境与认知模型间的关联,进一步扎实“人机相互理解的语义基础”,也为地理信息技术与空间认知研究的衔接提供有益尝试;另一方面通过探索以语义计算和推理为驱动的虚拟地理环境动态构建机制,提升虚拟地理环境自动化和智能化构建的技术水平。
项目主要针对当前虚拟地理环境(VGE)的构建未能充分体现认知特性,在依据用户需求和实时生成方面有待进一步提高的问题,引入认知语言学相关理论与方法,提出了以构建VGE认知语义模型为核心的地理语义分析与场景建模方法。研究内容包括:提出了VGE认知语义动态建模的理论模型;形成了一套以语义计算为主线,包含特征表达、泛地理要素分类与描述、语义关联模式与理解、场景自动生成等技术方法的VGE动态建模技术路线;通过研制语义关联聚合原型系统和基于眼动仪的虚拟地理试验环境,对相关理论和技术进行验证。本项目通过探索以语义计算为驱动的VGE动态构建机制,提升虚拟地理环境自动化和智能化构建的技术水平,也为地理空间认知研究提供借鉴。
