Based on photorefractive nonlinear response, Optical images processing are done by using photorefractive higher-order gratings. When a image is added into the signal light and interfere with the pump light in the photorefractive crystal, the higher-order diffraction images were observed on the screen behind the crystal. The second-order diffracted images was rotation and amplification. Higher-order phase conjugation output was observed in experiment. These research results will be used to solve cross-talk of holograms storages and real-time optical correlation.
对光折变材料的非线性响应机制进行理论和实验研究,探讨高阶折射率相位光栅对记录条件、材料参数的依赖关系;研究对一束记录光加载图象,实现多束高阶光输出图象的旋转、放大及相位共轭输出等图象处理操作;研究对记录光束进行调制时,高阶输出光所携带的调制信息,实现自由空间多点光互连,为光折变材料走向实用化奠定基础。
