This project studied mainly the evolution rules and radiation properties of GRBs and their afterglows. Under their various intrinsic parameters and various environments, GRBs and their afterglows were calculated systematically. After comparing with observations, some important results have been obtained. It has been found sound bases that GRBs are originated from the collapses of massive stars. Some results seem to be related with cosmological questions. We also proposed a new question about the orphan afterglows which might have much wider meaning than usual afterglows with GRBs. 36 papers were published within the 3 years related with the project, among which 33 papers are of SCI Journals.
