The search for black holes and their mass measurement are essential for the study of black holes. Super-massive black holes and stellar mass black holes have been found, but the missing-link, black holes in between SMBHs and StMBHs, which are IMBHs, their existence is short of solid evidence. The mass estimation for IMBH candidates relies on empirical models and indirect evidence. Hyper-luminous X-ray sources are good candidates of IMBHs because they are promising to have dynamical mass measurement and then get precise mass. But confirmed HLXs are rare so far and optically faint. We propose to search for more HLXs and exclude part of them by multi-band archive data. For the most promising candidates, we plan to observe them and try to make dynamical mass measurement via the spectral line shifts.
黑洞搜寻和质量测量是黑洞研究的基本,目前超大质量黑洞和恒星级黑洞都已经找到,但是中间缺失的一环即中等质量黑洞却少有扎实的观测证据。已有的质量估计多靠经验模型和间接证据,而超极亮X射线源是一种中等质量黑洞的良好候选体,有希望对黑洞做动力学质量测量,从而得到比较准确的黑洞质量,但是目前证认的HLX少,已有的两个HLX过于暗弱,我们计划在我们已有研究基础上,通过多波段数据筛选出最有希望的候选体,并进行观测,得到红移,进而尝试通过谱线移动来测动力学质量。
