The designed preparation of nano-sized materials of polyoxometalates is at intersection of the mutidisciplines. The relationship of between Preparation, properties and catalysis of nano-sized materials of polyoxometalates is systematically investigated in the project. Fifty and more kinds of the nano-sized materials have been synthesized by the solventothermal technique, adsorption-assembly under vacuum, immersion and two-step method using mesoporous sieve as support. It is illustrated that these nano-sized materials possess the excellent catalytic activity. These investigation maybe not only provide a chance to overcome difficulties encountered in the reaction catalyzed by the polyoxometalate cluster but also can open a new research field in the catalysis and material science, and which is of great importance to the improvement of the living environment of the human race. .Keyword: catalyst;nano-sized materials;polyoxometalates.
