With the rapid increase of various wideband multicast services and users' different QoS requirement on the Internet, how to support the QoS multicast routing in the next generation WSON optical network is becoming a research hotspot. The research in this proposal aims to investigate the QoS multicast routing in the PCE-based multi-layer and multi-domain optical network by means of some intelligent optimization approaches. The main contributions in the research include the extension of the architecture of Path Computation Element (PCE) and the corresponding PCEP protocol to support QoS multicast routing; a mathematic model of multi-objective optimization is proposed for the QoS multicast routing in the PCE-based multi-layer and multi-domain WSON optical network due to the existence of different optimization objectives (such as the utilization of bandwidth、end-to-end dealy、network blocking probability, etc.) and various QoS requirements (including wavelength continuity and physical impairment constraints); some new meta-heuristic optimisation algorithms are proposed for solving the problem; a novel fitness landscape analysis approach is applied for the first time to theoretically analyze the landscape structure and predict the effectiveness and difficulty of the algorithm for solving the problem which can provide the theoretical basis for improving the algorithm; finally, the discrete event simulator OMNeT++ is used to evaluate the performance of the proposed optimization approaches and algorithms.
随着各类宽带组播业务的急剧增加,以及用户对组播业务的服务质量(QoS)要求不断提高,如何在下一代WSON光网络中实现QoS组播成为业界研究的热点。因此,本项目拟研究实现基于PCE的多层多域光网络QoS组播路由的智能优化方案,包括扩展路径计算单元PCE的体系结构和相关的PCEP协议对跨域QoS组播路由的支持;针对多种不同优化目标以及QoS约束的存在,首次提出基于PCE的光网络QoS组播路由多目标优化模型; 拟设计多种满足波长一致性和物理损伤约束条件的QoS组播路由元启发式(Meta-heuristic)智能优化算法;并创新的提出采用适应度地形(Fitness landscapes)理论分析方法来分析所设计的算法解决该问题的适应值地形特征及其对解决该问题的有效性和困难程度,从而为算法的改进提供理论依据;最后采用离散事件仿真软件OMNeT++分析和验证提出的优化方案和算法的性能。
随着各类宽带组播业务的急剧增加,以及用户对组播业务的服务质量(QoS)要求不断提高,如何在下一代WSON光网络中实现QoS组播成为业界研究的热点。本项目主要研究基于PCE多层多域光网络QoS组播路由多目标优化算法,在项目执行期间的3年时间内,项目负责人及项目组主要研究人员分工合作,按照项目研究计划开展相关的研究工作,搭建了基于PCE的多层多域QoS组播路由多目标优化仿真实验平台,提出了多种基于PCE的光网络QoS组播路由多目标优化算法方案,并进行了仿真实验测试和验证算法的性能,累积发表SCI期刊论文3篇,国际学术会议论文2篇,培养硕士研究生5名,出版译著1本,与参与项目研究的英国诺丁汉ASAP研究组保持长期的合作,期间进行多次学术研讨和交流,项目组成员组织多次进展报告会议和学术报告活动,并参加多次国内国际学术会议和交流,基本完成项目的预期目标。
