This project is conducted by Inner Mongolia Agricultural University under the support of Mathematics Communication Working Committee of the Chinese Mathematical Society. It aims to better disseminate and popularize mathematics knowledge and mathematical culture to the public, understand the value and role of mathematics, and stimulate the interest and hobbies of the public, especially of the teenagers, in mathematics. And by carrying out mathematical science popularization activities, the necessity of infiltrating mathematics culture in mathematics teaching is discussed.. To exchange the good experiences and prospects for the future work in the dissemination and popularization of mathematics in all provinces (Autonomous Regions and Municipalities Directly under the Central Government) , the project organizes the meetings of the Mathematics Communication Working Committee (Enlarged) of the Chinese Mathematical Society, which is attended by the heads of the Mathematics Associations of the Provinces (Autonomous Regions and Municipalities Directly under the Central Government). The Mathematics Associations of all provinces (Autonomous Regions and Municipalities Directly under the Central Government) will further expand the scope and influence of mathematics communication and popularization by holding the "Mathematical Communication and Popularization" ─ "Double Hundred" activity. . To popularize mathematics into the public life, popular science information in mathematics is designed and produced. The further optimization and improvement of the mathematics communication module in the We Chat public platform of the Chinese Mathematical Society has made it possible to increase the intensity of public interest messages. In addition, the symposium on the dissemination and popularization of mathematics enables the public to understand the needs of the mathematics discipline. At the same time, national innovation capabilities and the promotion of national science and technology can be enhanced.

本项目由中国数学会数学传播工作委员会依托内蒙古农业大学,组织召开由省(自治区、直辖市)数学会负责人参加的中国数学会数学传播工作委员会(扩大)会议,交流各省(自治区、直辖市)在数学传播与普及工作中好的经验及对未来工作的展望;各省(自治区、直辖市)数学会通过举办“数学传播与普及”——“双百”活动,进一步扩大数学传播与普及的范围和影响力;设计制作数学科普资料,使数学深入到大众生活中;进一步优化和完善中国数学会微信公众平台中数学传播模块,加大推送公众感兴趣讯息的力度;举办数学传播与普及工作座谈会,了解公众对数学科普的需求并探讨数学教学中渗透数学文化的必要性。开展上述活动,其目的在于传播、普及数学知识和文化,让公众了解数学的价值与作用;激发公众特别是青少年对数学的兴趣和爱好;探索数学传播与数学普及的新模式,为提升国民数学素养、增强国民创新能力和促进国家科技发展贡献力量。
