Different geographic regions typically have their own distinctive biota. which is the largest river in Jiangxi province and the major tributaries of Yangtze River, Play the important part of stabilizing water environment and breeding aquatic resources. In present, more and more studies focused on the relations between fish assemblages and environment factor. However, to this day,the information on fish assemblages relation to their habitat variables is also poorly understood in Gan River. So, in this study,the main stream and tributary of lower Gan river will be selected as study site. The relation between fish assemblages and habitat varibles, Such as current velocity, water temperature,distance to source, depth, stream width, stream substrate, will be investigated. The overall goal of this study is to characterize fish assemblage patterns in space and time and to explore fish assemblage relationships with reach-scale habitat variables in Gan river. As a consequence, the specific objectives are to describe spatial and temporal variation of fish assemblages of the main stream and tributaries of lower Gan river and identify patterns of association between fish assemblages and habitat variables.
物种多样性具有明显的地理特征,赣江作为江西的第一大河流,长江的重要支流,在水环境的稳定,水生资源的培育等方面具有重要作用。目前,有关鱼类多样性与环境因子关系的研究已成为国内外研究热点。但是,迄今为止,系统地研究赣江及其支流鱼类多样性的时空格局还未见报道。因此,本研究选择赣江下游及其支流为研究地点,以河流生境为切入点,研究鱼类多样性的季节性和丰水期是否的变化特征,量化沿河床变化与沿河流级别梯度赣江下游及其支流鱼类多样性的空间分布格局,并探讨河流栖息地变量对河流鱼类多样性空间分布的影响,旨在系统揭示赣江下游及其支流鱼类多样性的时空分布格局。为今后科学评估赣江及其支流鱼类多样性,科学地保护、恢复与管理赣江及其支流生态系统提供科学依据
项目的背景.本项目研究选择赣江下游及其支流为研究地点,研究鱼类多样性的时空分布格局,并探讨河流栖息地变量对河流鱼类多样性空间分布的影响,结果显示,不同季节,鱼类多样性分布格局差异显著,鱼类的物种多样性和生物量夏季最高,冬季最低;丰水期鱼类物种多样性高于枯水期;与岩石和砾石混合底质河床相比,淤泥和沙底质河床河流段的鱼类多样性明显增高;河流的级别越大,鱼类物种数和总捕获个体数明显提高。这些结果对于揭示赣江下游及其支流鱼类多样性的时空分布格局。为今后科学评估赣江及其支流鱼类多样性,科学地保护、恢复与管理赣江及其支流生态系统提供科学依据。.项目资助发表Sci论文4篇,待发表3篇。培养硕士生3名,其中3名在读。项目投入经费49万元,支出252,154.90元,剩余237,845.10元,剩余经费计划用于本项目研究后续支出以及研究生培养工作支出。
