Based on the currently available VLBI stations and Shanghai Correlator of Chinese VLBI Network, we will improve the performance of wide bandwidth of the digital baseband converter called CDAS developed by SHAO, and make further advances in the technique development of Shanghai Correlator. In order to densify the ecliptic calibrator radio sources, we will carry out a series of VLBI observations for a large sample survey of the radio source candidates with the absolute value of ecliptic latitude being less than 7 degrees and the X band flux being greater than 50mJy. Thus it will benefit the phase-reference radio imaging and differential radio astrometry. By taking advantage of the opportunities of international cooperation, we will also conduct the multi-epoch observations for a set of ecliptic calibrator radio sources. We expect to improve the positioning accuracies of the target radio sources and monitor their position stabilities. As a result it will contribute to the future international celestial reference frame ICRF3, which will be improved in the total number of radio sources and the positioning accuracies.
依托我国VLBI网现有观测台站和相关处理机,提高自主研发的数字基带转换器CDAS的宽带观测性能,推动上海相关处理机的技术发展,对黄道带正负7度以内、X波段流量密度大于50mJy的射电源进行大样本普查,加密黄道带校准射电源表,满足相位参考成图和高精度相对天体测量的需求。充分利用双边或多边国际合作观测机会,开展对黄道带部分射电源的多历元观测,提高射电源位置测量精度,监测其位置稳定性,为未来国际天球参考架ICRF3在射电源数量和位置精度上的提高做出贡献。
依托我国VLBI网现有观测台站和相关处理机,提升了自主研发的数字基带转换器CDAS的宽带观测性能,推动上海相关处理机承担了国际VLBI和本项目的相关处理任务,对黄道带正负7.5度以内、单天线流量密度大于50mJy的射电源进行了大样本普查,从约4000颗射电源中检测到650颗VLBI校准源,加密了黄道带校准射电源表,从而满足相位参考成图和高精度相对天体测量的需求。充分利用双边或多边国际合作观测机会,开展对黄道带约400颗校准射电源的观测,提高了射电源位置测量精度,为未来国际天球参考架ICRF3在射电源数量和位置精度上的提高做出了贡献。
