As a good pulsed radiation source recently plasma Z-pinch is intensively studied. Aimed at studying implosion and emission of Z-pinch, a lot of research work has been done, including: ① In order to maximize the x-ray emission from the z-pinch the gas load was matched to the pinch current by designing a suitable supersonic nozzle. ② A three-frame Mach-Zehnder interferometer was developed to observe imploding plasma and some important parameters of plasma implosion were obtained. ③ X-ray yield from z-pinch was measured with thermopiles and the time dependence of the soft X-ray spectrum (0.1 keV ~ 1.5 keV) was obtained with a X-ray spectrometer consisting of Ross filters and XRDs. ④ Improvements were made on a compact Thomson spectrometer. The energy spectrum of the ions emitted from z-pinch was studied. All of the results from the above experiments are much helpful to a better understanding of z-pinch physics.
以得到最佳X射线辐射为目的,对小型喷气式Z箍缩等离子体的运算参数进行优化。研究该等离子体中的基本物理过程及辐射特性(包括等离子体鞘层内聚压缩的动力学过程及其不稳定性,发射的软X射线的产额、能谱和时空变化特性、离子束的能谱和电离状态)。这些研究欣谏钊肓私鈀箍缩等离子体中发生的物理过程,并为大型Z箍缩的研究提供参考。
