A mathematical model for air electrodes under a fluctuate load has been developed. Wavelet approach was used to separate different electrochemical singnals and to remove white noise in electrochemical measurements. An electrochemical impendance analysis (EIA) based upon wavelet has been established. That makes a dramatic reduction in EIA time in comparision with the conventional EIA. The influnce of substrate carbon on the electron distribution in metal catalyst was taken inton account in a study of catalysts Pt/C and Pt3Fe/C for oxygen reduction reaction. The mechanism of Fe enhancement in performance of catalyst Pt3Fe/C was clarified by means of ab initial and density function theory (DFT) approaches.
