This project will be operated in the alpine meadow where has been built the semi closed artificial nest quadrats and control quadrats, to atract Raptors living and breeding here, to explore reproductive attendance, reproductive success rate and the intrinsic rate of population growth, in order to restore the population size of Raptors in the study area. Basing on the predator-prey relationship theory, we aim to achieve the purpose of controlling the rodent population density and analyze the correlation of population fluctuation between Raptors and rodents. The project will contribute to maintain the local food chain of species density dynamic balance, protect the ecological environment of grassland, thereby reducing the economic loss. It makes ecological protective effect on the population pattern of Raptors, then lays the foundation for the further study of the Raptor breeding, protection and migration diffusion patterns.
本项目以高寒草甸建立的半封闭式人工巢箱样方与等面积的对照样方地为研究区域,以招引猛禽入住繁殖的方式,探讨猛禽的上座率、繁殖成功率、种群内禀增长率等,以期恢复猛禽在高寒草甸研究区域内的种群规模;利用食物链的捕食关系原理,实现控制鼠类种群密度的目的,同时分析猛禽种群密度变化与鼠类种群密度变化的相关性;通过本项研究以期维持当地食物链的物种密度相对动态平衡,保护草地生态环境,从而减少畜牧业的经济损失;并发挥保护猛禽种群格局的生态学作用,为高寒草甸的猛禽繁殖、保护和迁徙扩散模式等更深入研究奠定基础。
