The dynamics of lake ecologicaol structure under different environmental conditions and various restoration measurements are hot issues for the researches on lake environmemt and ecological restoration. Comparied with morrnitoring and experiments, the dynamic modeling of lake ecological structure is regarded as a economic and effective method. The present study makes the combinations of specific and large-area lakes, Chinese and globle lakes, as well as actural and experimental lakes. The main progresses can be concluded as the following four aspects: (1) The dynamic laws and their mechenisums of lake ecological structure were sysmeticlly analysized on the base of the effects of eutrophication, acidificartion, and heavy meteal, organic chemical and oil pollution on lake ecological structures. (2)The theoretical frame and a set of comprehasive indicators for lake ecosystem health assessment were proposed, and they were applied to assess the healthy states of the Lake Chao and other 29 typic Chinese lakes. (3) A GIS-based method for lake eutrophication assessment was proposed and it was used to the Lake Chao. (4) The ecological structural dynamic model for the Lake Chao was developmed on the base of sysmetic analysis of the lake ecological structure, and the model was used to pridict the effects of macrophytoplants restoration on the lake wate quality and ecosystem health.These findings have importemt theroical and actual meanings concerning lake ecosystem dynamics and restoration.
