Heat transfer matter of biological system comprises the most complex mechanism in nature. Tongue is considered as a window of human body in this research, and the heat transfer of tongue and tongue inspection of TCM are studied at the thermal science angle. The research on heat transfer of tongue not only is a help to the development of bio-heat transfer, but also provide a new integrate point of physics and traditional medicine. In this research, the influencing factor of lingual temperature which is produced by framework of tongue is discussed. And the influence of blood perfusion rate on the temperature field of lingual surface is mainly studied. The relationship between temperature distribution of lingual surface and temperature field in tongue body is proved up. Numerical model that adapt to the heat transfer characteristic of tongue is built. This will help to produce a new cognition about traditional medicine theory and impel the development of bio-heat transfer..In animal experiments, many advanced instruments such as infrared thermovision, CBI-8000 physiologic research system and Doppler laser rheometer are applied to measure physical property parameters. And the database of the area and coordinate of vessels at many cross and vertical sections in pig tongue are processed on the base of a mass of animal experiments. This method has important practical value for analyzing the influence of vessels distribution on the temperature of tongue. The arterial areas and positions are observed by a microscope and recorded by special software for pathology analysis and on the basis of them two dimensional temperature fields of certain cross and vertical sections in pig tongue are numerically calculated by the finite element method (FEM). Furthermore, tongue is looked as cuneiform body in order to find a mathematical model that is fit for the heat transfer characteristic of it. A quasi-one-dimensional model is built and the mathematical expression is a second order nonhomogeneous linear differential equation with variable coefficients. Then the analytic solution is obtained and the experimental data of pig tongue and classical data of human tongue are respectively substituted in the equation for checking computations. The applicability is discussed and satisfactory results are concluded. By providing Infrared thermal images of tongue about healthy man and coronary heart disease patients, the discrepancy of temperature distribution of tongue is discovered. This provide gist for impersonal study of tongue inspection in TCM..Tongue inspection in TCM is looked as a research background in this task. 以舌作为人体的一个窗口,从热科学的角度对舌体传热与中医舌诊的机理进行研究。采用普通及高倍率热象仪、组织血流计等高新技术对、犬、鼠的舌进行检测。在动物实验的基础上,建立传热模型,从而再推演出人舌的传热模型。以期揭示舌的传热机理,指导中医临床的辩证论治。使中医传统理论与生物传热理论相结合,推进生命科学的发展。
