基于时空变化特征分析的珊瑚礁白化遥感监测技术研究

Coral reefs are important ecosystems both in terms of high production and preservation of biodiversity. However, they are suffering from bleaching events worldwide. Remote sensing has proved to be a useful tool for the rapid monitoring of coral bleaching in large areas. In reality, the practical challenges of remote detection of coral bleaching remain considerable. In terms of the traditional optical remote sensing, this project will discuss its applicability and environmental impacts first, based on the radiative transmission model. Then, combined with the ecological process simulation of coral bleaching, the indoor experiments data and multi-source satellite data will be used to analyze the remote sensing characteristics of coral bleaching from both time and space perspectives. Finally, satellite remote sensing data and UAV hyperspectral data are used to construct the monitoring methods of coral bleaching based on time series data analysis and object-oriented image analysis in the study of typical coral reefs in the South China Sea. The project achievements will not only promote the scientific progress of coral bleaching remote sensing, but also provide a new data platform for the future environmental supervision of coral reefs in China.

珊瑚礁是地球上生产力最高、生物种类最丰富的生态系统之一,然而目前全球珊瑚礁白化现象严重。珊瑚礁白化遥感信息提取是实现珊瑚礁白化大面积、快速监测的一种重要手段，但目前仍面临着诸多技术挑战。本项目以传统的光学遥感技术为出发点，基于辐射传输模型，探讨光学遥感技术在珊瑚礁白化监测方面的适用性及环境影响作用，并结合珊瑚礁白化的生态过程，利用室内试验和多源卫星遥感数据，从时间和空间两个角度来分析珊瑚礁白化过程的遥感特征。在此基础上，针对我国南海西沙群岛典型珊瑚岛礁，利用卫星遥感数据和无人机高光谱遥感数据，分别构建基于时间序列数据分析和面向对象影像分析的珊瑚礁白化遥感信息提取技术方法。项目成果不仅有力推进我国珊瑚礁遥感监测技术的进步，也为今后我国珊瑚礁生态环境监管提供新的数据平台。
